I'm Cathy Hu, nice to meet you!

I am a New York-based UX researcher & designer working on advertising technology at Amazon Web Services.

My passion for UX emerged when I entered undergrad as a computer science major. Over time, I found myself more drawn to the design and usability of the interfaces I programmed, rather than the actual construction of the interface itself; I was more invested in implementing readable fonts and organizing information in an intuitive way. I realized then that I wanted to advocate for the user and find efficient, engaging, and effective ways to help them achieve their goals.
